This side of my country we’re dreaming night and day we hoping for a better day brighter day got to make it anyway looking at my brothers my sisters they study everyday about a history that's not their own they'll never get a visa any day and in our backyard there's a wealth that will never end But we are so blind to look behind they say the grass is greener on the other end We've been misguided about who we are If they're coming here why are we going there We should be reminded about who we are We are African kings and queens the African dream The Africa we know should never cry --- Echoes - Maurice Kirya
