10 years ago, broke and happy was the way. Ripping road sodas in the van everyday. Middle of nowhere, hauling ass to the show, plastic bottle vodka got us ready to go! Grew up on the road, new city every night, wouldn’t have it any other way, that’s right! So breathe it in! If you wanna say that shit to me, you better say it to my face. You’ll never tell me that we didn’t earn our way. So shut your mouth, go on and learn your fucking place, you fucking bitch. Took acid on the rim of a canyon. Sold out shows in a country that we’re banned in. Drunk with a homeless dude under a bridge, blacked out that night, what city is this? Ran from the cops one night in Chicago. It’s a fucking party everywhere that we go. We always had fun, before the music paid us, now we’re fucking rich, everybody wanna play us. If you wanna say that shit to me, you better say it to my face. You’ll never tell me that we didn’t earn our way. So shut your mouth, go on and learn your fucking place, so eat our shit. Now I'm older shit’s different, rich and sad is what I'm living. Broke and happy was the way. This shit is hard to be explained… You'll never know what we been through. Never caught a break, now it’s overdue. But shit was better in the past. We got fucked up and we smashed some ass. Everything was different back in the fucking day. Different city, different bitches, no fucking pay. Never had a place to sleep and never had peace, but we still stayed happy and we never skipped a beat. Always stayed positive the show goes on.
