This feelings only coming once a year so don't ignore it
The issues of tomorrow never seem to come
Problems of the past melt faster than the snow up on your tongue does
Sitting round the table with my family and friends
I wish I could go back and just relive it all again
Cause looking at this photo in my phone from the past
No one knew that this picture that we took would be the last one
But that's how life goes, you gotta keep it cruising
Calling friends back home and everybody's moving
Talking bout our life goals and how we can improve them
Had to switch up the environments to see what we were losing
They say you don't know what you got till it's gone but
Until you're gone you never really know what you're missing
So even though out here it's never snowing on Christmas
I still get that feeling now when I'm alone with the mrs
Got the news that we're expecting our first
April, twenty-twenty-two that's when we're set for the birth
People ask me how I'm feeling about being a dad
Theres no words to describe a better feeling than that
So this the last holiday we celebrate just you and I
They say the more the merrier, I say its worth a try
For now lets make the most of what we got with just the two of us
The things we manifested gonna have to happen soon enough
Look, I know you got some big fears
Reminiscing back on the accomplishments of this year
Thinking with a new addition who could think that we could ever match that
And I agree cause honestly I plan on clearing past that
So let's get going buckle up enjoy the ride
You know I got the drive, co pilot by my side
Slow driving through the night
Snow falling past the headlights, red lights
Never gonna stop so we went right
Straight into the unknown
Ain't afraid of nothing cause I'm taking what I love most
If it goes left, no stress, take another road
There's no parking in the comfort zone
Cause everybody knows that's where nothing grows
Lay the foundation out before you get the harvest
You can't bear fruits if you never dig the garden
And if you never take your shot you'll never hit the target
Haven't stopped to celebrate because I'm only getting started
