I swam my way back up to the surface Hanging onto hope only by my purpose Constantly silencing the wave That swells inside my head Reminds me why I should be dead Now the water's rising up And I'm sinking fast I can't believe the voice That's inside of me It always tries to convince me I'm drowning I try to take a breath.
