Over the Years

Hello it's been a while I've been expecting your call And the fruits are ready in season No need for a reason You can keep your explanation Everything that's willed to be will come to fruition Picking up like yesterdays Never felt like it was so far away Never appreciate what you have until it's gone I know it takes some time Old hearts been worse for wear Put that intention into better days And it comes with the season of change I know it hurts sometimes It's so much harder to heal that heavy heart But I know it's getting better over the years Those expectations put you in a role That you don't recognize and now you're cold And you done boxed up yourself and you put yourself on hold Why you pursuing every goal that's gonna get you gold?
