The blue planet Can I spin you around? If I do I hope no water falls onto the ground Pure air F*ck a square You are perfectly round And with the help of gravity You always hold me down Oh Mother Earth, It was you who birthed life Oh mother Earth It's for you we shall fight And hop nobody else might be killed for consumption Or killed over assumption I kneel and prey redundant To this special place May you open up heaven's gate And let us back in the sunshine With style and grace At night I have a special place Under the moon Where I sleep till the morning And I dream about you All the humans and machinery Tall buildings and greenery The ocean and seas And everyone underneath, Who used to inherit this globe before it all turns As the stars burn??? We watch them all turn from earth??? Yea, The blue planet, Can you please let us live Hundred degree summers, No future for my kids Used to say my grandchildren Would probably see the world end Global warming starting wildfires in the Birdland I can't even hike Roll a wood And whip my bike Wonder what this s**t is like Humans are some parasites Now the ocean's overflowing And California is breaking Smoking weed by the river basin Wonder if we'll make it Twenty Nineteen and we're already dead The cancer spread Plastic in the puddles Water full of lead The government is a Ponzi scheme People are getting life for weed It's winter and I'm posted with my strawberry daquiri I guess its how it has to be Nature cut a path for me I'll be on the balcony Just waiting for the cavalry when the ice age hits It's Blu, J, and me And Blu's clues telling us That we should probably make our peace With the earth. --- Earth - Ben Beal
