I'm gonna get myself across the bridge one day Over the plains where adventure roams I'm gonna let myself go get this getaway Leave life's work for another day In the deep, deep poetry In the leaves, shivery I'm gonna fly away On borrowed wings, someday Over the clouds where the spirits go I'm gonna walk alone And seize that morning song And walk through fields where poems grow In the deep, deep poetry In the leaves, shivery Bring me the light Fire, walk with me So that I might see Only the light Where has my love gone?
