Talking to Myself

Waved goodbye to the evening glow In the fall's first fall of snow There are brighter times ahead you know Just gotta get through the off black winter in this god-forgotten hole The streets outside hold a silent war Everybody knows, but not what for We are prisoners to our thoughts Shackled up within invisible walls I forgot the ringtone of my phone And most the days I just stay home This city eats me to the bone I guess it's me who make it so Why am I talking to myself? I'm not making any sense Where is everybody else? Was that all? Is this it?
