My Bench

I've been trying to tell myself to slow down And look at all the books in here I'm gonna read them all And I couldn't take the weight no more I had to leave my home And all these people left and right They better leave me alone I'll be watching the sunrise I'll be watching the sun go down I'll be sitting here all summer And I don't care who comes around They say an end can be a start you know So I'll just turn around And my eyes were blind with disappointment I could not tell at all And I tried so hard but did not understand That what I wanted was what I had All these years And why is everybody rushing fast Why can't you just take your feed of the gas And enjoy what you are having right now I'll be watching the sunrise I'll be watching the sun go down I'll be sitting here all summer And I don't care who comes around I'm gonna cut my hair I am going to get new shoes I am going to get a look Like I always do I'll be a better man Yeah I least I try I think I'll figure out Just don't ask me how
