Every Once In A While

Hey, what’s the big idea? come on now don’t leave me standing here I’m just watching all the clouds go by just like clock hands on the face of the sky every once in a while everything comes together every once in a while everything turns out right hey, as a matter of fact like a lost child at the vanishing act, I’m just watching my future take flight just like black holes in the wings of the night everybody only gets lucky sometimes everybody is always changing sides so you’d be wise to know your enemy soon they’ll moving in next door they’ll come to show you to your destiny and they won’t be empty handed anymore hey, its like a one man show everybody’s in, there’s nobody to go I’m just watching all the tables turn just like smoke rings from a slash and burn every once in a while everything goes to pieces every once in a while everything must divide hey, why, you’re acting so strange it’s all just static I must be out of range I’m just watching my reality bend just like wild flowers at the season’s end won’t somebody tell me everything’s gonna be fine won’t somebody tell me everything’ll be alright cause I cant take too much more of this I could never stand it, anyway I guess it’s easy to afford all the risk when you’re not the one that’s gonna have to pay
